This morning we headed out to Amish country to buy cheese. The cheese factory we visited has a very large selection, including salsa, horseradish, Swiss, onion, garlic, etc. Anna had a great time trying all the different flavors. Then is was off to Shipshewana, which is mostly an Amish town, but also has a large flea market and craft shops. Papa wanted to shop of a tall (16 feet or more) lighthouse for at the river.

But before lighthouse shopping, we were treated to an old fashion parade. Anna had a good time watching the old cars, horses, carriages, miniature horses pulling carts, etc going by. This was such an old fashion parade, that people on the floats and fire truck were throwing candy to the kids in the crowd.

After the parade, it was off to the store that look at lighthouses and other fun items, like the flowers and bird below....

There were also some boxer puppies, to which Anna took a liking. After looking at the puppies for a little while, Anna says "Papa, I want a puppy." Notice to whom she addressed this comment - the little girl already has figured out the person most likely to buy her what is wants. Here are the cute puppies...
