Mapquest has given us an estimate of 8 hours and that trip took 9 hours and 10 minutes. We stopped for gas at the beginning, took a potty break at the 3 hour mark, and made out last stopped for lunch, gas and another potty break somewhere north of Springfield, Ill. And we didn't go through any pull-up!! Anna managed to stay dry the whole trip, including waking up in the morning. A great feat for such a little child.
Anna is in seventh heaven with having PaPa and five dogs. In case you are trying to do the dog math - Remmie and Jake (Anna's dogs), Josie and Dakota (my brother's dogs) and Angus (my parents spoiled, oversized rat - aka toy poodle). Also, she showed up and had gifts - a new wagon, stuffed Mickey Mouse and Tigger, and new clothes. As mentioned before, no one spoils her as much as my parents.
A couple of new pictures, which are actually rather old pictures from our first days together. The photos were taken by Malia's mother, who is very talented.
