Whew - what a weekend...

We had a busy weekend last weekend. It started with a trip downtown. We were joined by best buddies Dustin and his mom, Debbie. Which was great.
Our downtown adventure started at the Governor's Mansion for a little trick-or-treat action, which included some good candy and books. We also had a chance to watch apple cider being made and were treated to some kettle corn (love the stuff) and blue grass folk music.
While at the Governor's Mansion, we saw lions and witches and all other sorts of creatures.

Posing for a quick picture...solo and then with best buddy Dustin.

After the Governor's Mansion, it was off for a little trike-or-treat action at the different downtown stores. We even ran into this cute puppy, who was well behaved enough to pose for photos.

I have now accounted for the first half of Saturday. And since there is no rest for the wicked - all four of us headed out to the Taos area (about 20 minutes from the house) for a FHWA office event. As you can tell, there was pumpkin carving involved.

Anna, being Anna, made fast friend with new best friend, Carly. Carly gave Anna a few driving lessons and then it was off to the races for my girl. And, no, we are not in the market for a Jeep of our own. We do not have the room for one or place to drive it. Carly and her family live on 12 acres.
